Hillsboro animal clinic expected to debut Oct. 29

The owner of Walden Veterinary Service expects to open his new animal clinic along Highway 81 in Hillsboro on Monday, Oct. 29.
Scott Wal-den said Tuesday that he’s completed a majority of his planned renovations inside the former Spiral Light Candle factory building at 214 1st St. E.
Barring any unforeseen delays, he intends to start caring for pets in 10 days.
“I still have to find some furniture and things like that but it’s pretty close,” he said. “I’d say we’re 75 percent done.”
