HBA’s Christmas carnival slated Dec. 9 in Hillsboro

The Hillsboro Business Association broke tradition last year when HBA members scheduled their annual Christmas Carnival on a Sunday, rather than the customary Saturday in December when Santa Claus visited Hillsboro every year.
The gamble worked.
According to all involved, there were no arguments from parents, kids, HBA volunteer workers and least of all, Santa.
The 2018 carnival will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 and include Games Galore’s inflatable games, lunch and candy distributed by Santa Claus.
