HBA to host Jan. 19 legislative forum
Jan 11, 2019 -- Posted by :The Hillsboro Business Association will sponsor a legislative forum at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at Hillsboro's Main Street Community Center.
District 20’s three state legislators – Sen. Arne Osland and Reps. Richard Holman and Aaron McWilliams – have indicated they will attend the forum.
“This is an opportunity for people to have input in our state government,” said local businessman Gregg Webster, who has been helping to coordinate the forum.
The forum also gives legislators the opportunity to “put a face with a name” of the people who often contact their offices by phone or email, Webster added.
Everyone is welcome, and coffee and cookies will be served.
